O Espa\u00e7o \u00c1gora \u00e9, \u00e0 semelhan\u00e7a do espa\u00e7o utilizado para as grandes discuss\u00f5es na Gr\u00e9cia antiga, um espa\u00e7o dedicado essencialmente \u00e0 discuss\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica, com apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es orais simult\u00e2neas, organizadas segundo os diferentes temas que comp\u00f5em o tem\u00e1rio do congresso.<\/p>\n<p>A organiza\u00e7\u00e3o do congresso vem dando grande import\u00e2ncia e abrindo espa\u00e7os especiais para discuss\u00e3o de assuntos extremamente importantes na atualidade da Geologia de Engenharia e Ambiental, como Eros\u00e3o Marinha, Eros\u00e3o Fluvial, Eros\u00e3o em Margens de Reservat\u00f3rios de Barragens, problemas da Ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o na Amaz\u00f4nia, Ensino e Pesquisa em Geologia de Engenharia e Ambiental, entre outros.<br \/>\nO evento tamb\u00e9m contar\u00e1 com as presen\u00e7as de alguns especialistas internacionais, como o Prof. Dr. Scott Burns, Dr. S\u00e9rgio Mora e Steve Parry, respectivamente, Presidente da IAEG, consultor da ONU e Coordenador da Comiss\u00e3o T\u00e9cnica 25 da IAEG. S\u00e3o profissionais com larga experi\u00eancia internacional e que devem trazer olhares diferenciados sobre a Geologia de Engenharia, materializados em palestras especiais a serem proferidas em plen\u00e1rio. Al\u00e9m disso, o Prof. Dr. Scott Burns e o Dr. S\u00e9rgio Mora ministrar\u00e3o cursos pr\u00e9-congresso.<\/p>\n<p>Outro ponto de destaque \u00e9 a Mesa Redonda Especial: Gest\u00e3o de Riscos e Respostas a Desastres A partir de 2011 na qual ser\u00e1 debatido o Programa multissetorial do Governo que permitiu a atua\u00e7\u00e3o coordenada entre os \u00f3rg\u00e3os envolvidos, denominado Gest\u00e3o de Riscos e Resposta a Desastres coordenado pela Casa Civil, constru\u00eddo atrav\u00e9s de quatro eixos que focaram a atua\u00e7\u00e3o governamental no mapeamento das \u00e1reas de risco, sistema de monitoramento e alerta, obras estruturantes e, em m\u00e9dio prazo, o fortalecimento dos \u00f3rg\u00e3os de defesa civil e apoio a um melhor planejamento urbano capaz de evitar a ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1reas de risco e resposta eficaz. Nesse encontro ser\u00e1 apresentado os resultados alcan\u00e7ados at\u00e9 2015 e a programa\u00e7\u00e3o para o PPA 2016-2019.<\/p>\n<p>Os cursos pr\u00e9-congresso s\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m um outro atrativo, pois, como t\u00eam por objetivo a capacita\u00e7\u00e3o profissional e a difus\u00e3o do conhecimento, tornam-se elemento fundamental em um congresso onde se espera um grande afluxo de
