{"id":24514,"date":"2024-02-29T17:58:27","date_gmt":"2024-02-29T20:58:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/?p=24514"},"modified":"2024-07-08T19:16:56","modified_gmt":"2024-07-08T22:16:56","slug":"porto-flavia-um-projeto-logistico-genial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/porto-flavia-um-projeto-logistico-genial\/","title":{"rendered":"PORTO FLAVIA: UM PROJETO LOG\u00cdSTICO GENIAL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Com opera\u00e7\u00e3o iniciada em 1600 para a extra\u00e7\u00e3o de carv\u00e3o, enxofre, b\u00e1rio, zinco, chumbo e prata, entre outras subst\u00e2ncias, as minas de Masua, localizadas na Sardenha, It\u00e1lia, ganharam relev\u00e2ncia a partir de 1922, quando foram adquiridas pela empresa belga Vieille Montagne e tiveram sua produ\u00e7\u00e3o de zinco e chumbo ampliada para atender \u00e0s obras de reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o das cidades ap\u00f3s a 1\u00aa Guerra Mundial e ao novo mercado de ligas de a\u00e7o.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00e9 1924, o min\u00e9rio era carregado por marinheiros, em cestos de vime e levado por bilancelas, barco tradicional da regi\u00e3o, at\u00e9 a Ilha Carloforte, onde era descarregado manualmente e embarcado nos por\u00f5es de navios a vapor, rumo \u00e0 fundi\u00e7\u00f5es na Fran\u00e7a, B\u00e9lgica e Alemanha. A perda de v\u00e1rias bilancelas no mar tempestuoso, o tempo de carregamento dos navios, que podia chegar a dois meses, dependendo das condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas, e os custos totais \u2013 incluindo os sal\u00e1rios dos muitos trabalhadores e os pre\u00e7os dos barcos, navios e aluguel do cais, tornavam impratic\u00e1vel essa log\u00edstica de transporte.<\/p>\n<p>Em 1923, o engenheiro italiano Cesare Vecelli foi chamado pela mineradora para elaborar um projeto que otimizasse a opera\u00e7\u00e3o. Sua solu\u00e7\u00e3o \u2013 in\u00e9dita e genial &#8211; foi utilizar uma \u00e1rea de mar bastante profundo e protegida dos ventos e ondas, para permitir a amarra\u00e7\u00e3o segura de navios de grande porte, que receberiam a carga do min\u00e9rio escoado a partir de uma fal\u00e9sia por gravidade.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24522\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24522\" style=\"width: 700px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Imagem1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-24522 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Imagem1.jpg\" alt=\"minegaleriaITM107-a\" width=\"700\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Imagem1.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Imagem1-300x102.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24522\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Imagem 1<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A obra consistiu da constru\u00e7\u00e3o de dois t\u00faneis sobrepostos, com 600 m de extens\u00e3o cada, ligados entre si por nove silos verticais (Imagem 1). O t\u00fanel superior foi perfurado com dinamite e brocas mec\u00e2nicas, a partir do lado oposto do penhasco, a uma altura de 37 m, recebendo a infraestrutura da ferrovia el\u00e9trica. Quando a obra alcan\u00e7ou a face do penhasco, diante do mar, os oper\u00e1rios pendurados em cordas come\u00e7aram a perfurar o t\u00fanel inferior, 21 m abaixo da primeira galeria e 16 m acima do n\u00edvel do mar. Nas laterais dos dois t\u00faneis foram feitas aberturas para ventila\u00e7\u00e3o interna. J\u00e1 os silos, com di\u00e2metro entre 4 e 8 m, altura de 20 m e capacidade para cerca de 11 mil t de min\u00e9rio, foram escavados diretamente na rocha bas\u00e1ltica e equipados com escotilhas mec\u00e2nicas de ferro em seu topo e base.<\/p>\n<p>No t\u00fanel superior, o min\u00e9rio processado era trazido por um trem el\u00e9trico <strong>(Foto 1, em destaque no alto da p\u00e1gina, e Foto 2)<\/strong> e descarregado nas escotilhas do alto dos silos.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24516\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24516\" style=\"width: 700px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Foto2-e1709239685261.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24516\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Foto2-e1709239685261.jpg\" alt=\"minegaleriaITM107-Foto2\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24516\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Foto2<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>No t\u00fanel abaixo, uma correia transportadora recebia o material, escoado pelas escotilhas inferiores dos reservat\u00f3rios (Foto 3), levando-o a outra correia transportadora, com comprimento de 16 m e extens\u00edvel.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24517\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24517\" style=\"width: 700px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Foto3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24517\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Foto3.jpg\" alt=\"minegaleriaITM107-Foto3\" width=\"700\" height=\"491\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Foto3.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.inthemine.com.br\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Foto3-300x210.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24517\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Foto3<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>No final dessa segunda correia, o p\u00f3 de min\u00e9rio era canalizado em um po\u00e7o vertical at\u00e9 o por\u00e3o do navio atracado no sop\u00e9 da fal\u00e9sia (Fotos 4 e 5). Um sistema inovador de alinhamento m\u00f3vel instalado no transportador principal evitava que a correia se soltasse das rodas motrizes sob a press\u00e3o da queda do min\u00e9rio. No mesmo ano nascia Flavia, a filha de Vecelli, que acabou dando nome ao porto. Com a exaust\u00e3o das jazidas, na d\u00e9cada de 1990, as minas de Masua foram fechadas. As mais antigas, assim como o porto, est\u00e3o sob a gest\u00e3o da IGEA SpA, estatal que administra e preserva o patrim\u00f4nio hist\u00f3rico mineiro da Sardenha (Foto 6).<\/p>\n<figure
