S\u00f3 em 2022, a empresa atuou na reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o de cerca de 259 hectares, um crescimento de 55% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ano anterior.<\/p>\n<p>Esta \u00e9 uma a\u00e7\u00e3o que reafirma o compromisso da empresa com o meio ambiente e que est\u00e1 em constante aperfei\u00e7oamento. \u201cDesta forma buscamos conduzir uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o respons\u00e1vel e sustent\u00e1vel. Em 2022, 95% do reflorestamento foi realizado por meio da nuclea\u00e7\u00e3o. A metodologia consiste na forma\u00e7\u00e3o de &#8220;ilhas&#8221; ou n\u00facleos de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o com esp\u00e9cies com capacidade de melhorar significativamente o ambiente, facilitando a ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o dessa \u00e1rea por outras esp\u00e9cies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTemos usado a nuclea\u00e7\u00e3o com maior frequ\u00eancia por ser uma metodologia que melhor \u2018imita\u2019 a natureza. Ela reaproveita galhadas, ra\u00edzes e solo org\u00e2nico rico em nutrientes e sementes. Os n\u00facleos gerados ocasionam em forte atra\u00e7\u00e3o para a fauna, formam abrigos, pequenas po\u00e7as de \u00e1guas, t\u00eam madeira em decomposi\u00e7\u00e3o que atrai insetos, geram poleiros artificiais, al\u00e9m de ser uma metodologia que pode ser utilizada tanto no per\u00edodo chuvoso quanto no seco\u201d, conta Jonilton Paschoal, gerente de Meio Ambiente na Minera\u00e7\u00e3o Paragominas.<\/p>\n<p>A empresa tamb\u00e9m utiliza as t\u00e9cnicas de regenera\u00e7\u00e3o natural e plantio tradicional, al\u00e9m de ter aplicado a hidrossemeadura em cinco hectares da regi\u00e3o. Em 2022, a Minera\u00e7\u00e3o Paragominas plantou 75.449 mudas de 131 esp\u00e9cies de 39 fam\u00edlias adapt\u00e1veis \u00e0 realidade da regi\u00e3o, a exemplo do ip\u00ea amarelo, ma\u00e7aranduba, jatob\u00e1, copa\u00edba, ing\u00e1-de-macaco, sucuuba, paric\u00e1, fava bolota, entre outros. As esp\u00e9cies usadas na recupera\u00e7\u00e3o das \u00e1reas da Minera\u00e7\u00e3o Paragominas s\u00e3o referenciadas no invent\u00e1rio feito antes da extra\u00e7\u00e3o do min\u00e9rio, com aproximadamente 160 esp\u00e9cies adapt\u00e1veis \u00e0 realidade da regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>As a\u00e7\u00f5es contribuem para refor\u00e7ar a meta da reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o de 1:1 que a Hydro possui. Ou seja, para cada hectare minerado, este mesmo hectare \u00e9 reflorestado, em at\u00e9 dois anos ap\u00f3s a lavra. Tamb\u00e9m faz parte das ambi\u00e7\u00f5es da companhia garantir nenhuma perda l\u00edquida de biodiversidade em novos projetos. \u201cEstamos trabalhando para aumentar cada vez mais a diversidade
