O projeto \u00e9 integrado por 22 prospectos de explora\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro, ocupando uma \u00e1rea de 12 x 7 km. Conforme dados da explora\u00e7\u00e3o j\u00e1 realizada, Buti\u00e1 cont\u00e9m 215 mil oz de ouro na categoria Indicada de 6,4 Mt a 1,05 g\/t Au e 308 mil oz de ouro na categoria inferida de 12,9 Mt a 0,74 g\/t Au, considerando-se 0,3 g\/t de grande corte. Em dezembro de 2018 foi conclu\u00eddo um levantamento magn\u00e9tico de 1 milh\u00e3o km feito por drones sobre as \u00e1reas dos prospectos Buti\u00e1 e Matilde.<\/p>\n<p>No total foram coletadas 13.488 amostras de solo no Projeto Lavras do Sul, sendo 12.475 coletadas entre 2009 e 2012 para testar a maioria dos prospectos conhecidos localizados na metade sul da intrus\u00e3o gran\u00edtica SUD. Em 2018, outras 973 amostras foram coletadas nas por\u00e7\u00f5es norte e oeste do granito SUD.
