Em mar\u00e7o, a empresa divulgou a escolha da fabricante dinamarquesa FLSmidth para o fornecimento do sistema de moagem da planta de &#8216;. A primeira aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o dos maiores equipamentos de processo da mina inclui um moinho de bolas, com pot\u00eancia de 11 MW, hidrociclones e bombas, e tem prazo de entrega de 14 meses. Iniciado pela Aura Minerals em 2007, o Projeto Serrote foi suspenso por tempo indeterminado em 2015, devido a dificuldades de financiamento pela empresa. Problemas como o abastecimento de \u00e1gua e energia el\u00e9trica foram sanados pelos governos municipal e estadual, com a implanta\u00e7\u00e3o de uma adutora e de duas subesta\u00e7\u00f5es de energia. Em 2017, o empreendimento foi retomado pela Appian e obteve sua Licen\u00e7a de Instala\u00e7\u00e3o. Os investimentos s\u00e3o da ordem de R$ 700 milh\u00f5es e a opera\u00e7\u00e3o comercial est\u00e1 prevista para 2021, com uma produ\u00e7\u00e3o ROM de 4 Mtpa. Estima-se a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de 1.200 empregos diretos e indiretos durante o per\u00edodo de implanta\u00e7\u00e3o da mina e usina, em
