Entretanto, o rebaixamento do n.a. j\u00e1 era praticado desde o s\u00e9culo 19, no esgotamento de minas subterr\u00e2neas e na estabilidade de taludes de cavas a c\u00e9u aberto.<\/p>\n<p>Algumas opera\u00e7\u00f5es de rebaixamento do n.a. consistem na utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de uma bateria de po\u00e7os ou mesmo de um \u00fanico po\u00e7o, caso sua vaz\u00e3o e desempenho gerem um cone de rebaixamento suficiente para a libera\u00e7\u00e3o das frentes de lavra.
